Pengaruh Variasi Volume Diisobutyl Ketone terhadap Analisis Kadar Emas pada Bijih Emas Menggunakan Metode Digesti Aqua Regia dan Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh variasi volume Diisobutyl Ketone (DIBK) dan lama ekstraksi terhadap hasil analisis kadar emas pada bijih emas menggunakan metode digesti aqua regia dan Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS). Variasi volume DIBK yang digunakan meliputi 5 mL, 10 mL, dan 15 mL, sedangkan lama ekstraksi divariasikan selama 2 menit, 4 menit, dan 6 menit. Material acuan yang digunakan adalah Geostats G917-8 (STD 5) dengan expected value sebesar 17,09 ppm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan volume DIBK meningkatkan efisiensi ekstraksi sehingga kadar emas yang terukur semakin mendekati nilai acuan. Kondisi optimum diperoleh pada penggunaan volume DIBK 15 mL dan lama ekstraksi 4 menit dengan kadar emas sebesar 16,83 ppm, z-score 0,3, dan deviasi 2%, yang merupakan hasil paling akurat dibandingkan variasi lainnya. Lama ekstraksi yang melebihi kondisi optimum maupun penggunaan volume DIBK yang lebih rendah menghasilkan kadar emas yang lebih kecil. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa volume DIBK berpengaruh terhadap efisiensi ekstraksi emas, sedangkan lama ekstraksi optimum terjadi pada 4 menit. Kombinasi volume DIBK 15 mL dan lama ekstraksi 4 menit memberikan kondisi terbaik untuk menghasilkan analisis kadar emas yang akurat menggunakan metode digesti aqua regia dan AAS.
