Abstract

Freight transportation plays a vital role in supporting smooth logistics distribution in urban areas. Parepare City, as one of the main logistics hubs in South Sulawesi, experiences a high frequency of loading and unloading activities in warehouse zones. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the freight unloading process at two warehouse locations. The analysis focuses on processing time, volume of goods, number of vehicles, and number of workers. A quantitative approach is applied using multiple linear regression analysis with the assistance of SPSS software. The results indicate that all independent variables simultaneously have a significant effect on unloading effectiveness. Partially, processing time and volume of goods show a significant influence, while the number of vehicles and workers do not. These findings contribute to improving logistics efficiency by optimizing operational performance in warehouse environments.
