Abstract

Village development planning in the agricultural sector based on potential and actual conditions to drive policy and serve as a driving force. This study aims to analyze the potential of agricultural land resources in Hilidaura Village using drone technology. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques using Drone Participatory Mapping (DPM). The results of this study show that drone technology identifies the potential and current conditions of Hilidaura Village, specifically the availability of extensive rice fields. From the infrastructure identified in the drone imagery, there is the development of farm roads and agricultural support facilities. Participatory drone mapping in Hilidaura Village was able to provide data on the potential and current conditions in the agricultural sector, including the availability of extensive rice fields, the presence of water sources from rivers that have not been optimally utilized, and the development of infrastructure such as farm roads, grain storage facilities, and supporting agricultural facilities. The integration of high-resolution and accurate spatial data interpretation with community participation can serve as a foundation for formulating agricultural sector development plans in Hilidaura Village.
